Mike Santa Cruz was born on June 25, 1963, to Albert and Doris Santa Cruz. He grew up in D’Iberville, Mississippi, and graduated from D’Iberville High School. After completing his high school education, Santa Cruz joined the Mississippi Highway Patrol Training Academy. He worked as a State Trooper until he retired from the job. His dedication to serving and protecting his community earned him numerous awards and recognition for bravery.
Despite having a demanding job, Santa Cruz always found time for his hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking. His friends and family shared stories of how he would bring his homemade dishes to events and how he loved to share his passion for cooking with others. He was a man who truly valued his relationships with others, both on and off the job.
