According to the reports, on February 25, 2023 Jason Salter dropped his 15-year-old son at home before heading out to meet his friend Kenny Guerra for a business deal in East Point.
This was the last time Jason and Kenny were seen, further, it was at 6:00 p.m. their car was captured by street cameras on Campbellton Road, with both men seen together. However, they never returned home and have not been heard from since.
The situation is nothing short of a mystery, and on February 26, 2023, Jason’s brother reported him missing to the Hapeville Police Department. The lack of information and certainty surrounding their whereabouts has left many feeling deeply concerned, and the investigation continues to this day.

Jason Salter’s car was discovered abandoned in the parking lot of a Family Dollar store in the city, which led the authorities to initiate an intensive search for the two men.
The search for Jason Salter took a concerning turn when his vehicle, a 2017 gray Nissan Altima with Georgia tag TEF4403, was discovered abandoned in the parking lot of a Family Dollar store in East Point, Georgia. With no sign of Salter and his car in a location that he had no known association with, the situation intensified.
Adding to the complexity of the investigation, the BMW belonging to Kenny Guerra was also found in a separate location in southwest Atlanta. The discovery of the two men’s cell phones only amplified the seriousness of the situation, authorities continue to search for answers.
Dead bodies found in association with the missing case:
On March 16, 2023 at Bouckaert Farm in Chattahoochee Hills, police authorities uncovered two dead bodies in a wooded area, the identities of these individuals were not immediately known, and the remains were sent to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.
A month later, on April 18, 2023, the Medical Examiner confirmed the identification of one of the bodies through dental records as Jason Salter. However, the cause of death for Salter has not been disclosed, and the case is currently being treated as a homicide.
As for the second set of remains, the investigation is still ongoing and the search for Kenny Guerra continues.
