Northumbria Police have been undertaking an extensive search for Kris Butler, who went missing on Saturday after taking his dogs for a walk. Unfortunately, news has now been received that a dead body has been discovered in the Throckley area. Despite the ongoing investigation by the police, this is a deeply tragic turn of events.

Kris Butler Reported Missing: Who is Kris Butler?
Northumbria Police issued a call for help in the search for Kris Butler, a 40-year-old man with mobility issues who went missing while walking his dogs near Throckley Hall.
According to his family, Kris’s disappearance was entirely out of character, he was last seen around 6.30pm on Saturday and was reported missing at 11.15pm that night. Actions were taken as Northumbria Police was investigating hard to locate Kris and bring him home safely.
The police describe Butler as a white man with a skinhead haircut and a slight bump on the top of his skull. He is approximately 6ft 2ins tall and walks with a limp.
Concerned friends, neighbors, and volunteers were all taking part in the search efforts to aid the authorities in finding Kris. The situation remained critical until the latest police news came where they found a dead body which relates to Kris Butler. Tragically, on Sunday evening, the Northumbria Police confirmed that a body had been found near Throckley during the search for Kris Butler.
While formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be Kris. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialized officers during this incredibly difficult time.
In addition, the dogs belonging to Kris were found by a concerned member of the public and have been safely returned to his home.
